telc stands for The European Language Certificates and is a language certification system recognised throughout Europe. telc offers exams in various languages, including German, English, French and Spanish. However, telc is particularly well known for German as a foreign or second language. The exams cover all levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), from A1 (beginner) to C2 (near-native proficiency).

    You will read typical everyday texts, such as emails, advertisements or short articles. You will then complete tasks based on these and demonstrate that you can identify relevant information effectively.
  • Writing
    You will write your own text, for example an email or a message. It is important that you express yourself clearly and comprehensibly, using simple, structured sentences.
